Hello Cathedral Family,
THE VOICE, a very popular primetime TV show, works in an interesting way. Professional vocal artists, ones who know the sound of a good voice, listen with their backs to the performer. When they hear “THE” voice, they turn their chairs to face the artist and begin imagining the potential future of that performer.
THE KEY to unlocking your potential is found in the voice you choose to listen to. Jesus clearly explains in John 10:10 that there are two voices vying for our attention: “The thief’s purpose is to steal, kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” The thief’s voice produces DEATH. God’s voice produces LIFE. Which voice catches your ear and turns your chair?
I ENCOURAGE YOU to begin picturing the future God has for you.
In Jeremiah 29:11, God paints His picture for your future: “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.”
Now engage your imagination in this picture of your future that God is dreaming concerning you. Great relationships, blessed finances, career, family, and the many things God has in mind for you.
THIS IS THE PICTURE GOD SEES FOR YOUR FUTURE.
Now it’s time to begin speaking the picture…His picture…your picture out loud.
God I thank You that You know what You’re doing with my life.
I thank You that You have it all planned out.
I thank You that Your plan includes taking care of me.
I thank You that You are giving me the future I’m hoping for, which is _____. (Now you fill in the blank!)
The sky isn’t even the limit because with God, there is no limit! So start dreaming BIG!!!
Remember Ephesians 3:21: “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”
I promise you that you can’t “out big” God. He wants you to go BIGGER than you’ve ever imagined.
We’re experiencing an open window of heaven right now that I don’t want any of us to miss. So while the window is open, let’s all GO BIG!
