Hello Cathedral Family,
PICTURE THIS — YOU being exactly where God wants you to be, doing exactly what God wants you to do, and being fully confident that your life is right in step with God’s plan.
Last week we talked about how God WILL SHOW YOU what that picture looks like if you ask Him. He WANTS to show you and then He wants to guide you on a path that takes you there. If you missed last week’s message, you can click here and find out how to get a glimpse of God’s future plan for you.
UNLIMITED UNDERSTANDING. We all have access to it. It’s called revelation, and it happens when God reveals what He knows to us.
I believe God is constantly speaking to us — to refresh us, encourage us, and prepare us for what lies ahead. Hearing His voice is a skill that needs to be learned and practiced. Every radio station has an address, a specific and unique radio frequency. That address never changes so that you can quickly and easily tune in to what you want to hear. If you tune in to a station that is just one click off, you will hear something totally different.
The Holy Spirit is constantly speaking on a certain frequency. We have to learn how to “tune in” to hear Him. That usually means making adjustments to change our thinking and usual ways of doing things. After all, if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always…
There are many ways to dial into what God is saying. Extended times of praise and worship like we had this past Tuesday night at our “Night of Worship” provide a great way to tune in. Prayer also opens us up and sensitizes us to God’s heart. I invite you to join us every Saturday in March from 6-7pm in the Worship Center to pray together for the Sunday service.
Join me this Sunday morning as we continue to look at ways to build on the foundation we’ve laid for an UNLIMITED LIFE and position ourselves to hear what God is saying in this season.
